On a beautiful day Northleach 2nd XI travelled to Ashton Keynes with a young side and was beaten by 53 runs. After winning the toss Northleach decided to field. Aston Keynes ended up on 210 for 6 with M Grier hitting a powerful 64 and M Naapier 45.K Cambray was the pick of the bowlers with 3-30.

Northleachs reply was slow until T Gardner came out of his shell and hit 76,but this was or so his undoing as he was out in the 30th over with the score on 118.This ended Northleachs hopes of winning. Aston Keynes bowled very well with A Newark being the pick with 3-25.This was a great effort by Northleach 2nd XI against a good team.
