The Sunday rams entertained Hatherley & Redding cc
on a sunny day at the
arena. Put in to bat the rams scored 160 in their 40
overs. With captain T
Gardner only scoring 13 it was was down to K Hughes with
a excellent 60, 14
year old Dan Bining s hard hitting 31and Chris Smith
chipping in with 14 not
out. The young Hatherley & Redding players bowled
really well but it was
captain K Franklins 5-28, which kept the score down.
Hatherley & Redding got
to their total ( 161-7 ) in the 35 over with all there
players chipping in
( A Cupper 30, M Cupper 24, C Steldart 27and K Franklin
23 not out ) All
the young rams bowled really well with 14 year old Lambs
D Binding and S
Larner taking a couple of wickets each. This was a close
game played in good
sprit between two good young sides. |
