On a very hot day the Sunday rams took a trip to play the Sunday Sloggers at Stanton in two 20 over matches. This was a day to give everyone a bat and bowl and to see want the young lambs were made of.

The first match was a big disappointment losing by 57 runs.

Sunday Sloggers 124 -9 B Clifford 35, S Maslam 29, R Hall  M Davis and C Withwoth picking up two wickets a piece.

Northleach 67 -9 Stayte 3-7.

The most memorable part of the match was Gemma Tapsall from the Northleach women's team taking a great catch .

The next game was much closer  losing by 15 runs in a game they should have won.

Sunday Sloggers 138-6 N Kelland 30,A Walker 27. With every one bowling two overs each from Northleach.

Northleach 123-7 T Gardner 53 CSmith 18. W Gore 3-1.

This game ended after captain T Gardner run himself out after cruising
on 104 -3. This was a great day of cricket enjoined by all. Next week the
Sunday rams travel to local rivals Coln Valley hoping for a win.
