Northleach cc entertained Cowley cc in a time game
on Sunday with overcast
skies circling the Northleach arena. The rams were put
in to bat and made
215 for 4 with T Gardner making a fine 106 not out, C
smith 38 and G Harris
33 making the bulk of the remaining runs. With plenty of
runs on the board
Northleach captain T Gardner could give all of the young
lambs a bowl. J
Stevens, M Hughs, J Drinkwater, and D Hall all bowled
extremely well. But it
was fourteen-year-old D Binding who stood out with 4 for
26 of 6 overs.
Cowley finished on 118 for 7,helped by 21 runs scored by
73 year old Mick
Dunn. This was a entertaining friendly game of cricket
that was really
enjoyed by all. |
