On a hot day Northleach 2nd XI travelled to Tetbury and
lost by 11 Runs.
After winning the toss Tetbury were put in on bowling
friendly looking pitch. They were restricted to 130 all
out with K Thompson making 59 and T Gardner taking 4
-34.This was a better fielding and bowling display from
Northleach with two great catches from Gardner and
Larner. Northleach got of to a bad start and were 30-4
before T Gardner 33 and D Oseman 38 put on 60 for the
fifth wicket. Gardner was out to a great ball from A
Evans and
Oseman being unfortunately given out lbw. The Northleach
youngsters added a few more runs put fell just short. |
