Northleach 2nd XI crashed back to earth after the past
two winning performances with an eight-wicket defeat at
the hands of a Cricklade 2nd XI. Things started badly
after captain T Gardner lost the toss on a wet wicket,
which would go on to, help the Cricklade bowlers.
Northleach were bowled out for only 123 with P Webb (29)
and D Oseman (24) coming to terms with the cricklade
bowler's. Rigali bowled very well taking 5-15 including
a great opening spell with great movement to remove
openers G Harris and T Gardner.
The opening pair of G Regali (49) and T Hunt (53)
went after the Northleach bowlers from the start. The
drying out pitch did not help the Northleach bowlers as
cricklade romped home to a convincing victory. Only D
Oseman 2-9 caused the batman any problems.
Northleach will hope to find there form again next
week when they go top of the table side South Hill.
