Northleach Sunday XI vs Ashbury - 21/08/05

Northleach Sunday rams entertained Ashbury on a warm day at the arena.

After being put into bat the rams finished up on  191-9 after their forty overs.
Captain T Gardner led the way with 64,with M Hughes 36 and young D Hall 24
making the bulk of the runs. R New taking 3-17 for the visitors.

Ashbury looked like they may have got close to the total after reaching  80-1 but
with Nine rams  having a bowl  and   fourteen year old J Stevens taking 
2-10 Ashbury finished up on 128 all-out with T Gardner taking four wickets
for only three runs and picking up the wicket of R New who was looking good
on 44.

This was a good win with another great fielding performance by the
Northleach lambs.
