Northleach Sunday side with only nine players put in a good performance in a 74 run defeat at the hands of a very strong Bayshill XI.

Electing to bat Bayshill made 264 for 7 on the Hatherley & Redding south park pitch .The young Northleach players bowled well on the batmen friendly ground, with D Hall 2-42, D Binding 3-54 and M Larner 8-2-35-0 with the standing out bowling figures.

For Bayshill C Horner made 67 and four others chipped in with scores in there 30s.Northleach made a vain attempt to reach their total with M Larner scoring a great 84 and T Gardner 40 sharing 110 runs in a 20 over partnership, with both holeing  out looking for quick runs.D Hall hit a quick fire 25 in vain.

This was a great effort by a young team that is getting better with every game
