On an overcast day at the arena Northleach 2nd XI defeated Avening & Cherrington by 84 runs. After winning the toss and electing to bat they scored 224-6 in their forty overs. T Gardner with a excellent 86 and G Harris putting 110 on for the first wicket, before Oseman (32) and K Hughes (17) bolstered there total.

Avening & Cherrington never looked liked reaching the total as D Binding (2-32) and T Gardner (4-27) ripped though their top order. D Pitcher (46) and I Smith (41)  held Northleach up as they tried to get batting points. They finished up on 140-8 with two quick run outs near the end.

This was great come back by Northleach showing an excellent team spirit after the previous two heavy defeats.
