Northleach v Hampnett - Sunday 31st July 2005

The Sunday rams entertained local side Hampnett looking for their first Sunday win.

After winning the toss captain T Gardner decided to bat. They finished on 228-4 after  there 40 overs with M Larner 105 no and T Gardner 79 putting on 170 for the third wicket. Cooper was the pick of the Hampnett bowlers with 2-28 of his nine overs.

With the runs on the board T Gardner
could give every one off his players a bowl. Hampnett finished on 181 all out after 38.3 overs with A lewis 53 and G chalk 36 scoring most of their runs. This was Northleach's best fielding display this season with two great run outs (Gardner, Harris) and a great catch by young S Larner. All the bowlers bowled well with T Gardner 3-11, M Larner 2-7 and K Hughes 2-22
being the pick.

This was great match to watch for the many spectators.
